Thank you for considering telling your story to the YSC community. By sharing your experience with others, you may serve as both a source of inspiration and a reminder that if you are a young woman with breast cancer, you are not alone. Feel free to share helpful tips or even what you wish you had known. You can submit your story in two ways: either write your story, similar to an essay, or film your story and submit a video. To submit your story, please complete the form below. Contact and demographic information will not be shared online or to third parties.

What was your diagnosis date?
We recommend that you type or cut and paste your story here, which should be approximately 450 words. You can include how and when you or your loved one were diagnosed with breast cancer, the treatment process, sources of support (friends and family, YSC or other community resources), challenges and fears, what you are doing today and anything else that you think will help other young women affected by breast cancer.
Please select as many options as you'd like to stay up to date with YSC events, opportunities, and news.

  1. Clear sound is crucial, so make sure to shoot it in a quiet location
  2. Lighting is everything, so be sure the light is on your face and not behind you
