Meet Kathryn

After graduating from Harvard College summa cum laude, Dr. Ruddy developed an interest in treating and studying breast cancer while completing her MD degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She then completed an internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Care, and she earned a Master’s in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Ruddy is now an Associate Professor of Oncology and the Director of Cancer Survivorship for the Department of Oncology at Mayo Clinic. She cares for patients with breast cancer and is engaged in clinical research that is primarily focused on breast cancer in young women, breast cancer in men and cancer survivorship issues.
