Dr. Polly Niravath completed her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California with majors in Biology and Religion. She then earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. She went on to complete her medicine residency and oncology fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Niravath currently works at the Houston Methodist Cancer Center. She has a special research interest in breast cancer survivorship, with a major goal to improve on offering comprehensive care to patients, from diagnosis to treatment to long-term survivorship care. Most of her research focuses on minimizing treatment-related side effects for breast cancer patients. She is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys traveling, jogging, and reading. She always welcomes a good challenge, including marathons and triathlons. She also enjoys bicycling with her husband and 2 daughters.
