Tambre Leighn is a leading expert in coaching for cancer survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. She is also a published author, speaker, and outspoken health advocate. Her background as a professional athlete and her personal experience caregiving for her late husband inspired Tambre to become a coach and to co-create the Well Beyond This Care Plan program. This coaching based online platform helps people create greater well-being and live optimally, particularly when dealing with major challenges, chronic conditions and times of crisis.
As a well-known health and patient advocate and avid blogger, Tambre’s articles on coaching for cancer survivors and caregivers have appeared in leading cancer publications including theONC, a gated community for oncology professionals, Cure Magazine, Breast Cancer Wellness, and I Had Cancer. She has been a featured speaker, panelist, and facilitator for survivorship events such as OMG, CancerCon, USC Phillip Norris Cancer Center, UCLA Healthy Lives After Cancer, Pink Link, and the inaugural Young Survival Coalition Summit in Houston. She is also the author of the ebook, “Self Care Isn’t Self-ish: Caring for You IS a Way of Caring for Your Loved Ones.”
She has also delivered wellness workshops, coaching and leadership training to top organizations including: Atlantic Healthcare Systems, Esai Pharmaceuticals, NYU Langone Medical Center, Mattel Inc., Emory University, and others. As a panelist and chair for pharma events, she speaks as a patient/caregiver advocate with her primary objective being to educate on the challenges and issues facing survivors that impact adherence and quality of life along with supporting them to create out of the box solutions to these challenges.
