A small group of breast cancer survivors began meeting in 2004 and quickly found there was a need for support and services specifically for young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, we have provided a supportive environment for young women with breast cancer in the Tulsa area. As of January 2007, we are excited to represent YSC as an affiliate and bring its national focus to Oklahoma. Since its inception, it has been our goal to be the face of young women with breast cancer throughout our service area.
We offer a welcoming support group, which for many, is the first opportunity to connect with other young survivors. We enjoy collaborating with organizations throughout Oklahoma to participate in events which allow us to expand our circle of support to the breast cancer, medical and general communities.

YSC Connections Meeting
YSC Tulsa currently meets on the first Thursday of each month for a peer-to-peer networking group. This group was started out of a desire to give support and encouragement to young women in the Tulsa area who have received a breast cancer diagnosis. Attendees are at varying stages of survivorship—from just diagnosed to those celebrating several years cancer free. This is a great way to find a circle of support with others facing the same disease, to be encouraged that you are not alone, and to ask questions of those who have been there. Meetings are held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Kaffe Bona inside Venue 68 located at 6910 S. 101st E. Ave Tulsa (just off of 71st Street and Mingo Road).
YSC Networking Meeting
Join us for our monthly networking meeting. We'll discuss upcoming events, planning and volunteer opportunities while catching up with fellow survivors. Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at our office space, 1515 E. 71st Street, Suite 314, Tulsa, OK 74136.

YSC Tulsa is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help with staff informational tables, assemble newly diagnosed resource kits and distribute to area hospitals and cancer centers, lend support to a new member, serve on our leadership committee and much more.
