Savannah
YSC Savannah got off the ground in 2007 after a local survivor realized the need for a local group for young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Our service area includes Savannah, Hilton Head and surrounding areas. With more than 50 survivors and volunteers, YSC Savannah is recognized in the community as an invaluable resource in the area's cancer support network.
We currently meet once a month for You Are Not Alone (YANA) support and networking meetings and gather often for breast cancer events, including social outings such as concerts and community events. Our Annual Pink Tea and Tybee Beach event serves as a fun and unique way for our supporters and survivors alike to be involved in bringing awareness to the Savannah service area.

Our monthly Connections Meetings are open to breast cancer patients and their caregivers in the greater Savannah, Hilton Head and Coastal Georgia area. Our peer-to-peer meetings occur on the second Sunday of every month and rotate between the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at Candler Hospital and the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center. Meeting schedule and meeting times are located below. Parking is available. Our meetings often have special presentations from our local medical community, are informal and conducted in a discussion type format to encourage the participation by all in attendance.
