For young women facing metastatic breast cancer, we offer a wide range of programs for support and information, from connections to other young women to audio recordings of educational workshops and printed materials.
This overview describes our SurvivorLink program, which connects young women affected by breast cancer to others who understand. Our telephone and e-mail support network matches women with similar backgrounds, experiences and concerns so they may share priceless wisdom and understanding.

The second edition, published February 2009, of this premiere resource offers 172 pages of information, contacts and support for everyone affected by breast cancer. The guide contains a comprehensive listing of local, statewide and national resources as well as more than 450 breast cancer support groups.
NDRKs give young women the resources they need to face the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis. Providing organizational, informational and support tools, the NDRK helps young women navigate complicated medical terminology, multiple treatment options, financial and insurance questions and a whirlwind schedule of tests and appointments. Each kit contains a tote bag, our brochures, a ResourceLink Guidebook, a You Are Not Alone DVD and a Treatment Navigator. The navigator’s information and charts help young women better understand their diagnoses, get organized, ask questions and take charge of their own healthcare.
Metastatic Navigator: A Young Woman’s Guide To Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer, offers 90 pages of resources to help young women face metastatic breast cancer with confidence and support. An organizational system and advice on practical matters help you manage the challenges of metastatic breast cancer, while informational tools help you understand the basics and work with your healthcare team. A comprehensive listing of resources helps you reach out for the assistance and support you need.
Fighting for Our Future is the only comprehensive survival guide designed for young women diagnosed with breast cancer, along with their doctors and caregivers. Published in 2003 some of the medical information in this guide has changed, but it still provides an excellent introduction for anyone affected by a young woman’s diagnosis.
Fact Sheets help you continue to make the best decisions for your health, offering basic information on young women and breast cancer, including some of the most critical issues they face. Our Fact Sheets give introductions to specific issues, answer the most common questions and provide resources for further information.
