A breast cancer diagnosis can bring tremendous challenges and urgent questions. Our Newly Diagnosed Resource Kits (NDRKs) help young women face those challenges with confidence. Packed with information and local resources for the newly diagnosed, these kits help fight the feelings of fear and isolation that can accompany a diagnosis—so that young women feel connected, supported and hopeful.

Each kit offers:

• Support: Learn what thousands of young women diagnosed with breast cancer already know– you are NOT alone.
• Connections: Our kits help you connect to other young women with similar diagnoses who can offer understanding and advice.
• Resources: Find information about local, state and national resources to help you deal confidently with the physical, emotional and financial challenges of your breast cancer diagnosis.
• Information: Every NDRK box comes packed with resources to help keep you informed and in control, including YSC’s educational brochures, Treatment Navigator, national ResourceLink Guidebook, listing of local resources and You Are Not Alone DVD. You can also browse or order these materials here.

Ordering Your Support

Young women who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer—or their caregivers—can order an NDRK online or by contacting their local YSC affiliate. We also distribute the kitsacross the US at participating hospitals and cancer centers.
