Phoenix
YSC Phoenix is a group of breast cancer survivors at all stages of the breast cancer journey—survivors, ladies right out of treatment and those currently undergoing treatment. Our affiliate began in January 2010 after a few ladies in the area had been involved with YSC in other cities and wanted Phoenix to also benefit from having a YSC Affiliate in the nation’s 5th largest city. Our service area includes the greater Phoenix area and surrounding areas.
Our Affiliate works in the community to support and improve the lives of young women with breast cancer and help ensure a better future for the young women who may one day be diagnosed. We also hold a monthly networking meeting for newly diagnosed women to talk about the unique concerns young women face, including: infertility, having young children, genetics, body image, reconstruction options, dating, marriage etc. We also host many educational and social events for young women in all stages of survivorship...newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment and long term survivors.

Peer-Networking Meeting
These events are open to women in their 40s or younger, no matter what stage of survivorship--newly diagnosed, in treatment, post treatment or long-term survivor. These meetings focus on addressing the unique concerns of young women diagnosed with breast cancer and are peer-led. Educational information, resources and laughter are always available during the events. Our goal is to help members find the tools and resources to live with purpose and joy as they face the challenges of cancer. We will focus on the needs and concerns of each woman's individual and personal journey. Please join us for laughter, support and a chance to be with other women who share the same feelings and questions.
These meetings are held at the John C. Lincoln's Breast Health and Research Center, 19646 N. 27th Ave., Ste 205, Phoenix. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
