New York City Constituents at In Living Pink 2009 In 2008, Young Survival Coalition celebrated its 10th anniversary of providing critical information, support and community to young women affected by breast cancer. The organization's headquarters have been located in New York City since its inception, but YSC is excited to renew its commitment to serving women in the New York metropolitan area this year by establishing a New York City affiliate.

YSC New York City supports and unites young women diagnosed with breast cancer through education and advocacy initiatives as well as support programs—from discussion groups to exercise classes to "survivor reach-outs," where local YSC volunteers work together to help other survivors in need. YSC New York City is committed to fostering a welcoming, safe and diverse community of survivors and their supporters.

Monthly Meetings

New York City Affiliate Constituents at In Living Pink 2009 Women on Wednesdays
Women on Wednesdays is a support/networking group for young women diagnosed with breast cancer, facilitated by Gabriela Hohn, Ph.D., a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice and a young breast cancer survivor. Join us on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30–8:00 p.m. as we address concerns specific to young survivors.

Gain support from peers while sharing ways to cope with the emotional challenges of treatment and beyond. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in the middle of treatment or are several years out, you are welcome to attend just one group or participate regularly.
