Young Survival Coalition Is an East Village Fixture's Cause Celebre

New York, NY - (June 13, 2006)

MEG Stores in New York City, Los Angeles and Toronto Throw Open Their Doors to Help the YSC

On Sunday, June 25th, 2006, MEG and the Young Survival Coalition will join forces for a sizzling summer shopping event at her East Village store at 312 East 9th St, between 1st and 2nd Avenues, New York, NY. From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, MEG throws open her doors for the YSC and offers customers a yummy 20% off on all merchandise. An additional 10% of the evening's profits will go directly to the YSC.

"As soon as I found out, I was on board," says Meghan Kinney, designer and owner of New York fashion hotspot MEG, "To me, the Young Survival Coalition is the ideal organization to partner with. I can't wait!"

Meghan Kinney has been whipping up ultra-feminine designs in her East 9th Street store for over twelve years. Her devoted followers make the pilgrimage to her door for the perfect party skirt, stylish custom dress, impish Bermuda shorts, or just to chat. With this in mind, Meghan decided it was high time for this style mecca to give back to the community that nurtures it - all the ladies – and paired with the YSC!

As per MEG's rule, wine will flow and foodstuffs will be offered for munching.

Everyone walking through MEG's door on Sunday June 25th will encounter fun, frothy, sexy and sleek summer outfits, personal alterations by the designer herself, complimentary wine, a delicious discount, and, of course, wicked conversation.

Join us! It's going to be a party.

Dates will be announced soon for similar events being planned for MEG's Los Angeles and Toronto locations.
