Paramus, N.J., (March, 15, 2012) — The Northern New Jersey affiliate of the Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the first nonprofit organization to focus exclusively on the unique needs of young women affected by breast cancer, will sponsor "In Living Pink" 2012, a Casino Game Night gala on April 24, 2012, at 6 p.m. at The Venetian, Garfield, N.J. The annual event will celebrate 11 years of YSC providing programming and events to young women affected by breast cancer in New Jersey.
“’In Living Pink’ is our largest fundraiser of the year,” said Lisa J. Frank, YSC Board President and New Jersey resident. “The critical funds raised at this event help YSC to continue to provide essential support, resources and education to young women affected by breast cancer in Northern New Jersey. In addition to working directly with the community, YSC Northern New Jersey also works with medical professionals and local legislators to educate them that young women can, and do, get breast cancer.”
The evening will feature exciting tables games including Blackjack, Double Roulette, Craps, Texas Hold Em, a raffle and generously donated prizes such as a St. Martin getaway, luxury ladies’ handbags, 2012 NY Giants autographed collector’s items, along with a buffet dinner. The money raised will enable YSC to continue providing programming such as peer support, monthly networking and support groups, as well as Newly Diagnosed Resource Kits (NDRKs) packed with helpful information, quarterly educational programs to help young survivors with their new normal after a breast cancer diagnosis and "You Are Not Alone" support events. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Early bird pricing is available for $85 through March 26, each ticket includes dinner and $200 in casino play money. Additional ticket options are available, including admission to the private high-rollers suite.
The gala will honor Volunteer Teresa Mancuso and Supporters Danielle & Anthony Lenardo for their outstanding commitment to YSC’s Northern New Jersey affiliate, as well as Corporate Honoree ADP, Inc. for its continued support of YSC’s ResourceLink Guidebook. YSC is proud to announce that this year’s Benefit Sponsors are ADP, Inc.; Montclair Breast Center; Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Alpha Industries.
