YSC Houston began in 2002 when a handful of breast cancer survivors sought out a social support network and have since grown into a well-recognized breast cancer organization that provides survivorship support, education and networking to the Greater Houston metropolitan area.
YSC Houston is actively involved in the coordination and distribution of Newly Diagnosed Resource Kits (NDRKs) to young women who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer. YSC Houston also hosts an annual “Courage Night” to celebrate survivorship and “In Living Pink” our signature fundraiser which helps raise funds for our programs and services.

YSC Houston Connections Meeting
Join us for our monthly networking meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We'll discuss upcoming events, planning and volunteer opportunities while catching up with our fellow survivors and supporters. There is always food, drinks and laughs! We meet at the YSC Houston office at 3104 Edloe, Suite 209, Houston, Texas 77027, in the Greenway Plaza area of Houston. Knockout Roses Support Group
YSC Houston in partnership with The Rose hosts The Knockout Roses Young Breast Cancer Survivor's Support Group. The group is the first created in the Houston area specifically for young women with breast cancer. Our hope is that this group will be a place where young survivors can come to meet each other and to talk about the issues that are unique to them. The Knockout Roses support group meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 5:45-7:30 p.m. at The Rose Galleria at 5420 West Loop South, Suite 3300, Bellaire, TX, 77401. YSC Houston and the Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure are excited to expand our collaborative program, Project Pink. This program brings survivors to high school and college campuses to share breast health information with young women in a casual and informative setting.
