You Are Not Alone: A Night for Survivor Networking and Beading - March 27th

Please join us at a free event for breast cancer survivors diagnosed under age 40 on March 27 at Beadluxe in Summit, N.J. The evening is part of the YSC's series of "You Are Not Alone" workshops and events for young breast cancer survivors who were diagnosed at age 40 and younger. Admission is free; however, space is limited.

BeadLuxe is an exciting retail store where you can create stylish beaded jewelry and accessories in an elegant walk-in workshop. The studio is filled with design guides, tools and distinct bead collections that make designing your own jewelry fun and simple. Staff will be on hand for assistance and also offer custom design and stringing services. "Young women diagnosed with breast cancer often feel isolated and have little contact with peers who can relate to what they are experiencing," says Dinamarie Alcuri, Chair, YSC Northern NJ Chapter. "This is a great opportunity for them to network with peers in a relaxing setting and learn about our organization."

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007; 7:00–9:00 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres, wine and soft drinks will be served at BeadLuxe, 319 Springfield Ave, Summit, N.J.

The evening is free and includes the beads and materials to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind necklace or bracelet. We hope to see you there!

Fundraiser Events - In Living Pink 2007

The YSC NNJ proudly announces our sixth annual In Living Pink! In Living Pink 2007 will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at the Brownstone in Patterson, NJ. The event features a buffet dinner, live music and silent auction.

Volunteers are needed for the Planning & Host Committee, Auction Committee and for "Night of" Volunteers. 

Please help support our efforts through either cash sponsorship of the event or a donation of goods/services to be auctioned off at the event. We greatly appreciate any contribution to help make this event a success. All donations will be acknowledged in our program and are tax deductible to the extent allowerd by law. The Young Survival Coalition is a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organiztion.
