YSC of Greater Baltimore is a group of women diagnosed under the age of 40 with breast cancer that meet monthly in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area. With the help of the funding through the Maryland Affiliate of the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the YSC conducts outreach in the community with breast health education and awareness in the Maryland colleges. There are various young survivor groups that meet in different areas of the state. These meetings are geared to support and education, specifically for the unique needs of young women and breast cancer.
Monthly meetings (the third Thursday of each month) at Sinai Hospital, 2401 West Belvedere Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215 for more information call 410-601-2189 or email yscgreaterbaltimore@youngsurvival.org.

YSC of Greater Baltimore participates as a team in the MD Komen Race for the Cure. Every October Courage Night is held locally to increase breast cancer awareness in the community and to recognize a young woman who has passed from breast cancer as well as honoring someone currently in treatment.
The young survivor group, Breast Friends, meets monthly as support and discussion, and has bi-annual educational speakers.
Breast health education is taught in the local MD colleges.
Advocacy is done on state and federal level for breast cancer needs.
