The Hershey Company's Pledge For Survival! The Hershey Company celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their limited-edition Pink Collection – York® Pink Peppermint Patties, Hershey's Nuggets®, Hershey's Kisses® chocolates, Hershey's Kissables® and Hershey's chocolate syrup®. This year, Hershey will contribute $300,000 to the YSC through its "Pledge for Survival" and is also the title sponsor of the YSC's annual York Tour de Pink bicycle ride, in which more than 100 riders will pedal their way from Hershey, PA, to New York City, to raise awareness and funds for young women affected by breast cancer. In addition, they are the title sponsor of the YSC's annual fundraiser York In Living Pink, presented by Hershey's.
Alberto Culver, the company behind Nexxus, St. Ives and TRESemmé, will be donating $.25 to the YSC per sale of these products in October at K-mart Nationwide. Great products, great hair, great skin all for a great cause!
Blue Smoke, New York's superstar barbeque restaurant, has teamed up with premiere chocolate manufacturer Scharffen Berger to support the YSC. Blue Smoke's pastry chef Jennifer Giblin has created the Scharffen Berger Chocolate and Coffee Parfait. For the month of October, $1 from each parfait ordered will go to the YSC.
Boy Meets Girl and Urban Outfitters are joining forces to offer limited-edition tote bags designed by Boy Meets Girl. The bags will be available exclusively at all Urban Outfitters stores, with proceeds going directly to the YSC.
