YSC Detroit is committed to supporting the young women of Metro Detroit and surrounding suburbs living with breast cancer. Young women can and do get breast cancer and those women deserve a local support network that understands the concerns that are unique to a young breast cancer patient.
Through community outreach, we strive to make ourselves known to those who might need us now and in the future. We believe through advocacy, support groups, networking and fundraising, we can successfully reach young women in our community and eliminate their feelings of isolation.

Networking Meeting
We currently offer a peer-to-peer networking meeting the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. We meet at Van Elslander Cancer Center at St. John Hospital, 19229 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, 48236.
Volunteer for YSC Detroit
YSC Detroit is looking for individuals who are interested in getting involved at any level. Regardless of whether you are a young survivor or you are newly diagnosed or years out, you can help YSC Detroit raise local awareness of breast cancer in young women and connect local young survivors.
