YSC Chicago holds monthly peer-networking meetings at Gilda’s Club in Chicago at 537 N Wells Street in Chicago on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Every other month, meetings will be co-facilitated by Carol McRaith, a mind/body therapist.

Whether you are recently diagnosed or are years out but now looking to get more involved, this may be your chance to join the sisterhood!

As YSC Chicago is growing, we are looking for ways to raise awareness of YSC Chicago and our monthly Support Groups, which are coordinated as an effort to reduce the isolation commonly felt by young women diagnosed with breast cancer. At this time, we are developing strategies for reaching both the media, and/or organizations that may refer young women to YSC. For more information on any of the below opportuntiies, please email yscchicago@youngsurvival.org.

Currently we are seeking the following volunteers:

• Research volunteer - will serve as a YSC Chicago liaison between YSC Chicago and the local media

• General volunteers - commitments vary from a few hours a month to being more involved with the leadership committee
