YSC Champaign-Urbana affiliate meets monthly and organizes events and programs for young women affected by breast cancer in East Central Illinois. The affiliate was formed in March 2009 by young survivors and their partners living in Champaign County. 


We provide connections and resources to hospitals, clinics, medical professionals, survivors and local businesses so that the needs unique to young breast cancer survivors are being met.

Networking Meetings
Join us at our monthly informal networking meetings to socialize with local young survivors in a casual setting. You can also learn about YSC Champaign-Urbana and help create ways to raise local awareness of breast cancer in young women. Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Music Fest 20112nd Annual In Living Pink Music Fest Success!
YSC Champaign Urbana held it's 2nd annual In Living Pink Music fest fundraising event on Saturday, June 25. The eventw as held at The Highdive and honored and remembered young breast cancer survivors while raising money to support YSC programs in Central Illinois. Featured musicians included: Eleni Moraites, Angie Heaton, Tricia Scully, Grandkids and Hathaways. Thanks to everyone who helped make this year's event a success! View photos.

Newly Diagnosed Resource Kits (NDRKs) Are Here!
NDRKsThanks to a generous gift from the Parkland Community College Think Pink Campaign in early 2009, YSC Champaign-Urbana is now offering Newly Diagnosed Resource Kits (NDRKs) to provide vital resources for young women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Each kit includes a Local Resource Guide, ResourceLink Guidebook, a You Are Not Alone DVD, brochures and other educational materials. If you are a newly diagnosed, premenopausal woman living in East Central Illinois and would like to receive a kit at no cost, please email yscchampaignurbana@youngsurvival.org.
