YSC Greater Metro Atlanta was formed at the end of 2000 by a 22-year old college student facing a breast cancer diagnosis. YSC Atlanta currently serves 11 counties in the Metro Atlanta area. We focus on education and outreach opportunities and provide peer-to-peer support for newly diagnosed young women. We also hold monthly social events for survivors and volunteer nights for anyone interested in getting involved. YSC Atlanta provides educational programs, support and long term survivorship planning for a young woman from the moment she is diagnosed throughout her life.

Monthly Meetings

Networking Group: YSC Atlanta's monthly networking meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at different locations around the city. See our events section for upcoming details. Join us to meet other survivors. Come for food, drinks, laughter and support. Just diagnosed? Did you recently find YSC Atlanta? Are you years out but now looking to get more involved? If you're new to YSC, we'd love you to join us.

News

Congratulations to the over 300 Tour de Pink riders who came out on October 17th and helped raise over $140,000 for education, support and outreach programs for young breast cancer survivors in the metro Atlanta area! Thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors, especially our lead sponsors Bright Starts and Amoena and gracious volunteers!

The inaugural Tour de Pink Atlanta, challenged riders to brave cold winds on 4, 18, 62 and 100-mile routes. We even had the Mayor of Dunwoody, Ken Wright, and family participate in the ride, and Miss Georgia, Emily Cook, was on hand to help raise awareness about breast cancer in young women. View pictures from the 2009 ride here; it's not too late to order, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit YSC Atlanta.
